August has started with another heatwave. Everywhere is basking in high temperatures.....we are getting up to 25C, with very warm winds. The lifeguards shown left at 5pm, 4th August, photos below from the 5th August at 3.30pm. (Top UK temp for August 38.1C: Gravesend, Kent on the 10th)

The beach is staying busy till late, with many families making good use of the hot weather during the school holiday. Photo left shows a crowd of youngsters gathering around an arriving Cullercoats fishing coble.
